NTS neurone

Micrograph of a nucleus tractus solitarii (NTS) neurone imaged on a BioRad confocal microscope, at the University of Sydney.  The single neurone has been labelled with a fluorescent marker infused while recording intracellular activity.  The multiple scans have been reconstructed with software (customised Igor Pro program).  The depth of each scan has been mapped to a colour gradient.


The mapping can be any colour scheme you choose, or a single colour:
